Mama and baby lion, Sabi Sand Wildtuin, 2016

We were very fortunate to find a pride of 3 lionesses and 8 cubs. It was very early in the morning, and the cubs were wide awake and playful. I caught this shot of the mom roaring and baby trying to imitate her.

That was followed by this shot, where she told him in no uncertain terms that he was being disrespectful. I still laugh every time I see the look on his little face....
