Well, Ruth, at Ruth's Visions and Revisions, has dubbed me a Superior Scribbler, and I am most honored...I feel a real kinship with Ruth. We are both professional writer/editors, and I think we share a passion for education and matters of faith. I wish I had her skills with knitting and roses, but it's nice to enjoy the beautiful visions and labors of others without the frustrations. Thanks for the vote of confidence, my friend.
Here are the rules:
- Each Superior Scribbler must in turn pass The Award on to 5 most-deserving Bloggy Friends.
- Each Superior Scribbler must link to the author & the name of the blog from whom he/she has received The Award.
- Each Superior Scribbler must display The Award on his/her blog, and link to this post, which explains The Award.
- Each Blogger who wins The Superior Scribbler Award must visit this post and add his/her name to the Mr. Linky List. That way, we'll be able to keep up-to-date on everyone who receives This Prestigious Honor!
- Each Superior Scribbler must post these rules on his/her blog.
FranIAm, of course---Fran's blog is always the first thing I read when I open my Reader. As the Quakers say, "Friend speaks for me"--and she does it with such heart and eloquence.
Closeted Pastor--Though we've never met, Cecilia is near and dear to my heart. In ways that are not obvious, her "coming out" story has real resonance for me, so I await each new post with bated breath.
Feral Christianity--This one is new to me, and it's a doozy. Duck is an amazing writer and thinker. Check her out.
Kirkepiscatoid--I am jealous of the extremely thoughtful posts that Kirk does on a variety of subjects. Kirk is on my Short List of Bloggers I'd Like to Have a Beer With.
Shuck and Jive--Another I never miss. John is a powerful and articulate advocate for Christianity---but it ain't your parents' version...
Find one you haven't read, and go be amused, enlightened, or challenged.

Gee whiz, golly jeepers, thanks! I'll get this posted (and passed on) in the next couple of days...and yes, the beer would be fun!
Doxy- thank you so much. I get the scribler part - that is me, but superior? No that is you!!
Thank you for this and for your words- you are too kind and generous.
Thanks for the shout! It ain't your mama's baby jesus for sure.
Congratulations! And it will be fun to see who your honorees are.
Congrats, and well-deserved! I'm off to check out Feral Christianity. That's gotta be good... :)
Congratulations, Doxy! You thoroughly deserve this award. But did you have to tell me about more blogs to read? I'm not getting anything done as it is!
Crushed again!
This is the question I am trying to get these folks to answer. It is a legitimate question.
“Using the ENTIRE history of mankind, can you cite one time, just one time, where a man and a man have produced offspring? Why not?”
“…as though I am not a complete citizen.”
I’m not saying you are not a complete citizen, I’m saying that the nature of a homosexual relationship is not complete when compared to heterosexual. The nature of these relationships are not equal…. unless you can answer the above question in the affirmative. If you can not, then the debate is over. We have found the truth and can go no further. You might not like the truth, but it is what it is. The bottom line is that the nature of these two relationships are not equal, one can do something “extra” that the other is incapable of doing.
If you continue attempting to move around, ignore, alter, dismiss, or change this reality, then we have a good example of Voegelin’s “second reality” that is in constant conflict with the ground of being as given. If you want to know more on the works of Voegelin, or Wilber, ask wormwood, she’s hip to all of this.
DP---I can only nominate FIVE, honey! Don't be crushed---your day is coming. ;-)
Madcap--I answered you over at the other place. I'm not going to argue with you here because I find you pretentious, tedious, and annoying. And I'm not leaving your links up, because this is my house--and I won't have my guests thinking I approve of your pseudo-intellectual crap. I'm sure you'll take my deleting them as some sign that you've "won," but I can live with that.
As for web design, bolded white text on a black background is a recipe for giving your visitors a headache. I'm no web designer and even *I* know that.
